I started DJing in 2016. I started out playing house music, but since have branched out to other genres.
As said earlier, I (GALLAGHER) started with house music but over the years my taste changed, I now focus on a more electronic underground sound that has a twist of techno and electro. Under my duo, Sunshine Avenue we keep it very house/disco edits. Nothing mainstream.
Lots to dream about. I’ve played at all my favorite clubs in Cape Town. Festival wise locally all the big vacation club events and underground festivals are on the list. Internationally, a definite big one that would highlight them all is Elrow.

Know your library of music, don’t bounce around to different genres during a set and always read your crowd when performing live. Focus on a brand you want to push and stay with it. A big one, set preparation and practice, make sure you 100% happy with what you play and release.
